Sakis Rouvas - S'eho erotefthi
March 19, 2009Such appropriate words for the 12th Greek God :-) S'eho erotefthi, is a greek song sang by an artist called Sakis Rouvas, the title in English is 'I'm in Love with you'. I first became a fan of Sakis's when I moved to S.Cyprus in 2005.
I remember the first song I heard of the local cypriot radio was Helena Paparizou's 2005 Eurovision winning song, My Number 1. A good song, yes but it was played over and over, over, over,over, over AND once more over again for a good couple of weeks, until I virtually got sick of listening to it. I can understand Greece and southern Cyprus being proud and thumbs up to them but t play a song to it's death is not the greatest idea, do you not think? But this doesn't stop me from having a good old boogie on the dance floor when it hits the DJ's tunes :-)
Right, back on track..............Sakis was all over the TV in Cyprus, so I had to find out more but to my surprise a new found friend showed me some 'beach shots' of Sakis and I was in love! I'm coming across as a 15yr old girl again, aren't I lol But I have to admit, I love Greece and everything about the country, if I had the opportunity, I would be moving to a Greek Isle in no time lol
